A bloody, convulsing body on an autopsy table. A character stabbed through the heart repeatedly, splashing blood on a Plexiglas window. A beanbag game where the right throw causes a man to hang in the gallows.

This ain't no kiddie haunted house - this is TerrorMania, a collaborative effort of effects veteran Tom Savini and "Thick As Thieves" bassist Gary "Gutch" Mandarino. The house is so spooky that Savini has been filmed inside of it for his gig as host of the Independent Film Channel's "Horror Month".

Savini's reputation draws the people in, but Tom humbly credits Gutch as the brain behind the house's 30 gruesome scenes. "It should be 'Gutch's TerrorMania,' " says Savini. Boss Productions Inc. plans to reproduce Gutch & Savini's creations for sale to haunted houses nationwide. Boss, Gutch & Savini are also willing to build houses for anyone wishing to have one of their top-quality haunts in their area.

If you live in or near Pennsylvania, you can check out Terrormania from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays and 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays until November 1. Admission $13.50 with special discounts for senior, students, and groups. Full details are available at the official Terrormania website.
