New Pics From "Van Helsing" Set

Vanshoot has posted a gallery of pictures of the "Van Helsing" set. Built on a lot in Downey, California, the massive set consists of castle interiors and courtyards. The exteriors and other shots were presumably done in March when the cast & crew were in Europe. Filming on the Downey set was finished in May, and the movie is now in post-production with a release date of May 7, 2004.

Directed by Stephen Sommers, "Van Helsing" stars Hugh Jackman as Bram Stoker's infamous 19th century monster-hunter. Dr. Abraham Van Helsing heads to Europe to battle Count Dracula, the Wolf Man, and Frankenstein's monster. Kate Beckinsale costars as Van Helsing's companion Anna.
