Sid Haig Goes Grind!

We are pleased to announce that Sid Haig will be joining the cast of Richard Clark Jr.’s Grinder. Sid will play Sheriff Eddie in this twisted tale from New Daydream Films.
Grinder is the story of seven college students, who for their Thanksgiving break, plan a weekend getaway to celebrate the holidays. When their car breaks down, the group is forced to spend the night in the small Smokey Mountain town of Chapman awaiting the necessary repairs to their car. Upon their arrival in Chapman, the stranded students learn that the whole town is occupied solely by the Chapman family, the town‘s namesake. The town is the self-proclaimed road kill capital of the world and this title is their claim to fame. There is a deserted silence in this town and a stench which emanates from a mysterious mill. The students find a place to stay in Chapman's only motel, and the stranded group begins to disappear one by one. Those remaining quickly realize that the smell might not be the only thing rotten about the town.
Sid will be joining the fray in November and is raring to go on this latest project, which will be his 60th feature length film. “Grinder has got all the earmarks of classic horror. It has sadistic mayhem, ultimate fear, anxiety building through the story. It’s just plain fun.”
