Milla Jovovich: Now Shooting Resident Evil 3

We've just returned from a visit to the set of Resident Evil: Extinction, and while we can't spill the details on that movie just yet (you'll be the first to know!), we did enjoy speaking with the lovely and talented - and always candid - Milla Jovovich about acting, in general:

"For me, one of the most depressing things [is] because you have to do so many movies to have one that you're happy with. Or one that comes out as genius. So many things can go wrong with. I can't tell you how many times I've felt like I gave the performance of a lifetime, and then I see the movie and I'm like, [covers face in shame] 'Oh, my God. How did they pick that? Why did they pick this?' It's just unfortunate so you've to keep churning them out as much as you can to get that one that just works. I guess it's the nature of the beast, I guess, that once everybody has their two-cents put in it makes for a soup with too many ingredients."
