X3

It wasn't anything too special, the 1st is the best, but this is worth a theater view if you liked 1 and 2. The first is still the best of the three, and number 3 is 2nd best. I liked storm in this one a lot, but I wish Angel had a bigger part.

7.5/10

yep .. the incredibles should definately be on the list ..

i prefered bugs life to ants though ..

X-3: The Last Stand - 5/10

I went into this movie with the high expectations that the first two movies in the series established. Let me say that it disappointed on so many levels. The storylines and new characters were not fleshed out.

Angel had a total of four scenes in the whole movie, and two of thoses scenes lasted a few seconds. All the new villains were lame with the exception of Jaugernaut. I mean the porcupine dude had the lamest power I have scene. He has to hug his enemies to death. I didn't even know the androgynus villain's power until the last battle. I thought her, turned out to actually be a girl, powerwas to look pissed and look ambiguous. The third new villain of lamness was multiple man, he was only in the film for one plot point. Even the girl who was basically Dash from the Incredibles, had the amazing power to sense other mutants powers and locate them, something Professor X (supposedly one of the most powerful mutants) has to use Cerebro to do.

The build up to the last battle was too short. Maneto's army of mutants' major powers were to go into battle and swing away with there fists. I think he would have been better off with a group of Soccer Hooligans. Don't even get me started on the sudden hatred between Pyro and Bobby(Iceman). There was such a build up to their showdown, and boy did it suck when we got there.

There were a few positives in the movie. Kelsey Grammer was excellent as the Beast, and he was handled nicely. Kitty, who I thought was the worst X-Man, turned out to be actually pretty cool. Angel did look cool, but again his character was not fleshed out.

I would not go see a 4th X-Man unless Bryan Singer came back to the series. If Brent Rattner directs the new Wolverine Movie, I probably won't go see that either. If you are a fan of the comic book and the first two movies, stay away from this movie. Wait for it to come out on DVD. I wish I had.

P.S. - They totally wussified Wolverine in this movie.

Cape Fear

Damn good movie by Scorcese. De Niro is excellent in this one. The rest are ok, but the movie belongs to De Niro.
