Dayne and Deuce both have the same advantage... TDs.
Both teams plan to utilize these players in short yardage and goal line situations (especially since Bush hasn't shown anything at goal line) which will translate into TDs and points. It was like having Bettis a couple years ago, you get 4 or 5 yds. a game but 2 or 3 TDs.

Ask any Giant or Denver fan what they think about Dayne... He couldnt run over a jr high linebacker. I am a Giant fan. I wouldnt compare him to Bettis. What has Dayne ever done in his career? Bettis can run over people and is much faster than Dayne. Bettis is a hall of fame RB and Dayne is a denver cut RB who never made it. He is 250 lb RB who thinks about cutting and using his speed rather than his power and weight. Not a good comparison... I am quite sure Lundy will get the most touches and then Morency. Dayne will get a couple touches in short yardage and will be stopped like he always has been.

I'm not saying he's that good, but his team his holding stock in his ability. I'm sure you've read it but...

Sep. 3 - John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans plan to use RB Ron Dayne in both short-yardage and goal-line situations.

I think Rod Smith for Ron Dayne is more fair than McAllister for Gates. (Like I said, I was expecting a counter-offer on that one.)

I'm not gonna veto a #2 WR for a goal line RB. It seems fair enough as long as both of the owners like it (which they obviously do.)

In regards to lopsided trades in general, I think it's a combination of things... Some people are very into this and are in several different leagues, others probably haven't been in fantasy football before so they may not know the value of some of the players. Another factor is probably that it's a free league so there really isn't much riding on it. That could also make be people more prone to accepting marginal trades if they like the guy they're being offered. 1 thing I can say for sure is that no one is colluding anything. It's all in good fun. I don't really care if I get 1st or 10th in this league, so I'm open to alot of trades I wouldn't be in a cash league.

Season starts tomorrow!!!! YESSSSS!!!!!!!

Go Vikes! This is our year!

Just to let you know Flayed, you don't have any defense starting your games.

I'm not sure if you noticed. I wasn't gonna be a dick and not tell you.

I didn't want you to lose games due to lack of a starting defense.

Charlie Batch is a hell of a back-up and the Steelers D is still quite powerful. I don't think the Dolphins are up for the task.

Dolphins have a lot to prove this year and Pitt's kinda banged up.

Culpepper looks to be ready for action. Chambers is one of my favorite WRs in the league and Ronnie Brown is posed to have a monster year, imo.

I'll go with Miami, but if Big Ben was in there, I'd think harder about this...

some folks seem to be worried about my welfare. particularly my seeming lack of discretion in my trades. being, as someone mentioned, that this is a free league, with nothing but "bragging rights" at stake, I have no qualms about any of the trades I have made. I'd like to win, just like anyone else, but I'm doing this for fun, not competition (I'm in another league for that). I also just wanted to help out b/c for a while there it didn't seem like enough people were gonna join up.

regardless of all this, I'm looking forward to this football, and fantasy football, season. good luck, all....

...you'll need it when the Knives come to town.

kidding.
