Reeker
This pours out the stylish direction, photography, set pieces and effects. If it wasn't a high budget film, it sure as hell looked like one. Love all the characters, or well - Gretchen and Jack, mainly. They were pretty damn cool. The film felt like Identity a lot, so some might think of it as a rip-off, and I can definately see where they got that idea. It's VERY CLOSE. I was genuinely creeped out during it in some parts - and I admit to pausing and checking around the room, lol. The film moved quickly, and never got too boring. However, the twist was sort of built up - and it wasn't too exciting, IMO. I'm sick and tired of that sort of twist being used too. So, what is it? Stay, November, a few others... now this? Come on people, I got tired of it the second time it was used. Copying something else. Overall: A stylish little film, ripped off a few things... ok, a LOT, had cool characters, witty writing, good humour without being COMEDIC. Yeah, it's possible.

Watched Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightly version) better than I thought it was going to be but Mr Darcy was a bit of a wimp in it (Colin Firth is and always will be Mr Darcy) so 6 out of 10
Corpse Bride rather liked it but nowhere as good as nightmare before Christmas so 7 out of 10

American Movie (1999)
a documentory (which turned out to be true !) about a low budget wannabe filmmaker who is trying to get his first film made (and the short film he's struggling to finish in order to finance his first film) this one has to be seen to be believed. very funny and also kind of sad (just like the box says) pretty much everyone in the film is nuts.
