Scary Movie 4

Not good...

All the good stuff is in the commercials and trailers...Doctor Phil/Shaq Saw, Tom Cruise on Oprah...other than that there isn't many good things to say about the latest and by far worst of the series.

The biggest problem I had was that most of the jokes went on far too long and were overdone, also in my opinion there were too many jokes where someone hit their head on something or was hit by having something thrown at them. There are more laughs than the ones I mentioned but they're few and far between. There's one scene in particular that was so ridiculously bad I probably would've walked out if I hadn't been with friends.

Out of a 10 I'll go ahead and give it a 4 and if you wanna see 2 of those points worth just go and watch the trailers. Having said all that, I think it could fall into the 'So bad it's funny' category for some. So if you've got the 8 bucks and 90 minutes or so to spare, use the experience on another film and wait a couple months to rent this one.

^ Thanks for the tip/review. It does look like it'd have lots of throw-stuff-at-people jokes...=/ damn I wish my assumption wasn't correct.

Anyways, last movie seen,

"Infection" it's a foreign one about these doctors who make a mistake during malpractice on a patient and the patient dies so they hide the body, and the next night this woman comes to the hospital late at night with strange symptoms, and after she dies, one by one of the doctors are getting the same symptoms.

Hostel

This was alright but I couldn't shake the fact that it seemed like a Saw ripoff. The acting was fine and the gore was pretty gruesome but the first half of the movie was basically unneccesary. It doesn't take 40 minutes to show that these are 3 horny teens backpacking across Europe.

It was pretty good, but I didn't find it to be a classic or anything...

I've always liked the artistry in this film. The scene when he walks out of the hospital and London is silent still is one of my favorites shots. It's a cool fresh take on the zombie genre, but it could have used some more gore. Most of it was either alluded to, distant or just off screen, but the actings good. All in all I enjoyed it.
