I just go to anything that looks promising, and as for the oscar nominees I see them because I figure they have to be at least mildly interesting and since I enjoy all genres of film I usually end up at least enjoying the first viewing.

We have to travel to the nearest cinema by bus (no car) and when you add in drinks/snacks and the tickets it comes to about Ģ20 at least ($37) for my Wife and myself to go the cinema.
For that cost I simply don't go to see many things.

that's understandable, for the moment I usually have a decent amount of money that I can blow on whatever but I'm sure that'll change after I graduate.

The iNvasion of the Body Snatchers remake.. Just what the world needs, another horror movie with Veronica Cartwright crying for the last hour....

(she did the same thing in Alien)

Last night I watched "Lathe of Heaven" with Lukas Haas, James Caan, Lisa Bonet, David Straithairn. What a boring movie! I definitely do not recommend it.

Most recently watched movie for me:
The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer.

It was a prequal to Rose Red. it was, okay. However, not much of it would make sense without seeing rose red, and then there were so many inconsistancies between the two movie versions that it was just frustrating. However, they did have the same woman play Zuccini or whatever her name wa sin both movies (the handmaiden who gets her ass beat when the the little girl disappears)
