I had the 3D Binaural Audio Play version on cassette when I was a teenager and listened to it all the time. Used to read Stephen King all the time back then so I'm sure I read the short story but I have much greater memories of the audio play version. Definitely a fun story no matter how you slice it.

Blood Father (2016)
Average movie. Would be even worse if it wasn't for Mel Gibson.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Typical superhero stuff. Besides a few scenes I find this one of the more boring ones. There's plenty of action, but it's the same as always.
And Spiderman's aunt May shouldn't look bangable.

My favorite episode has to be either that one or "Communication Problems". Soooooo funny!

Don't Breathe (2016)

"A group of friends break into the house of a wealthy blind man, thinking they'll get away with the perfect heist. They're very wrong."

Contender for my favorite horror movie of the year. Incredibly brutal and suspenseful. The simplicity makes the movie all the more effective. It does get a little exhausting towards the end with all the cat-and-mouse games and twists and whatnot, but that's hardly a complaint. I loved it.[/QUOTE]

i really enjoyed this too, you had a feeling the twits were coming but its still good when it happens.

Yeah I remember that episode and that scene. I blew tea out of my nose when I heard that line.

A few times during the film I thought to myself "Why am I bothering to watch this? Its not any good." And then I remembered I feel physically awful today and in that state I prefer to watch things I have no investment in. I did not care about any of the characters, the story, or dull action scenes. So it helped pass the time.

3/10
huh... I really enjoyed Civil War. Thought it dealt with a complicated issue with some sophistication, a little emotional depth, nice ending twist, and a lot of fun with the superhero battles and humor. The Cap/Stark ending fight was a little too long, but other than that, I thought it was an enjoyable episode.

Lot's of respectable non-horrorfans are seeing this at the theatre. It's like it's caught a societal nerve. or maybe it's like cabbage patch fever? i havent seen it. i dont normally see these type of films at the show.

Horror in general has attracted many non-horror fans this year. I mean, all the critically praised ones (and by audiences) were financial hits: The Shallows, The Purge: Election Year, Lights Out, The Conjuring 2... it's been a great year so far. I've been reading all over the internet that horror saved the summer box office.

Its not surprising for me that I did not like it. I haven't enjoyed any super hero movie since the first 3 X-men films. As for the story/depth they crammed much too much into the film. Things just happened when in reality they'd need to take months to move along. I really do not see any depth. It was like a comic book issue as opposed to a graphic novel if that makes any sense in regards to depth.
