Had a little monsterfest with some pals.
- Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) - The Mummy (1932) - Dracula (1931) - The Invisible Man (1933) - The Wolfman (1941) - Frankenstein (1931) The Invisible Man is easily my favorite monster movie out of all of Universal's classics. I think it is so underrated- everything is great. The effects, acting, plot, and flow are all superb. Dracula takes a close second, and then Frankenstein. Then I also watched: - A Hard Day's Night - Key Largo (My second favorite Bogart film.)

The Island
I heard a LOT of bad things about this movie but in honestly I found it entertaining. Sure the acting wasn't great, the effects were overused and over the top, the plot was predictable, and the social commentary wasn't so much subtle as it was shoved down your throat but all in all it was a fun ride. I'd say... probably 7/10 maybe a 6 because it was much too long but I'd have to watch it again to decide.

Last "horror" was Saw, what a shitty movie. Only good thing was Danny Glover.
