So fuck them - they aren't entities with any consequence, they aren't even "they".

Might as well queue up to have a peek, out of morbid curiousity if nothing else.

Curiosity on what a dead pope looks like? That goes right past curiosity and right into "sick obsession with dead old pricks."

I'm a firm supporter of the "Look at Dead People Fund" but most people are slightly creeped out at wanting to gaze at a lifeless religious man. Or should be, atleast.

Paying last respects, they call it - as one might do the same to a friend or relative at their funeral.

Religious types might hold The Pope in as high regard as friends or relatives.

I do believe it's time to invest some creativity and think of a better way to "pay respects." I don't think hanging your head over a soon decaying body is the best way to go about things.

And it should be a rule, if they can't remember where they were five minutes ago, they shouldn't be regarded as friends/relatives/people.

Infact, let's just slaughter the entire populous of old people. How many problems would that solve? All of them. Even world hunger and global warming. More meat and we can find a way to patch some holes up with a pair of wrinkly ass cheeks, can't we?

At what age are you "old", and are your parents/grandparents wrinkly ass-cheeks included in this mass-slaughter?

We won't put a definite age limit on it, we'll say once you turn Senile Avenue and park off at Alzheimers Boulevard, it's time to hit the gas chambers.

And of course my family will be included. This isn't a time to show favoritism towards old people. As they aren't really people.

Gas chambers?

Classic.

Though some of the old-timers who frequent this board might not agree.
