Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment. - I was bought the Guinea Pig boxset for christmas and started from the beginning with 'Devils Experiment'. I found this movie quite hard to stomach to be honest...50 minutes of basic torture and abuse on a young girl and that is the story...hmmm. I liked the final scene with the needle through the eye - that was very effective and very sickening, again for fans of extreme horror (August Underground) etc might find this film entertaining, for others I would suggest avoiding this film. Entertainement 6/10 Sickening Scenes 8/10!

Shikoku 4/10 - Dull, Long winded - could have been done in half the time - avoid as there are many better Asian horror's around.

Next up...

Well as it is Valentines Day my suggestion to 'Mrs Pea Soup' was Anthropagus the Beast...I was met with a stern look so it looks like I'm watching 'What Women Want' tonight - doh...I suppose as one off being Valentines Day n'all...lol

Where was the climatic elevator scene?? I would strongly advise on avoiding this Remake at all costs...the worst of the remakes as far as I am concerned to date. I have seen scarier films on Nickelodeon.

for some reason they also removed most of the tension..
it was well acted, well made, but pointless and limp thanks to the choices the filmmakers made in scrimping on the story.

Saw 2 ...dissapointing...one location movie...in bad studio settings...bad acting(very tv serie like)...quasi twist...but I guess its watchable on a bad day...

aeon flux.

the whole essence of the character was apparently very misunderstood. how disappointing (but then again i kind of knew it would be).

I also watched Saw 2 today, but unlike slasherman, I quite liked it. Not as good as the first, but still a more than decent film. The needle pit scene was just gruesome, and the twist at the end was most unexpected. Overall: 7/10

Monster Man

Dark comedy version of Joy Ride. Wasn't really good or bad, just fun.
