i have a lot of respect for guys like rob halford and kevin williamson who blaze a rainbow trail into uncharted homophobic terrirories (heavy metal and horror respectively). i think eventually the cooties connotation around anything gay will fade away, just like other social intolerances have in the past... except in the bible belt
