Is this the movie where they find the door to hell in an apartment building and the girl that moves in there is suppose to take over watching over it?
If so,I clearly don't remember Christopher Walken...what scene was he in?

The Lost Boys

Good cast and acting. Pretty average direction, but no real on screen gore, which is a bit disappointing. Corey Haim sporting some of the most ridiculously 80's clothing ever caught on tape is reason enough to rent this vampire classic though. And any movie with both Corey's, Kiefer Sutherland, and Alex Preston (Bill from Bill & Ted's) is alright by me.

Black Christmas

This is a very well done older slasher film. The budget seems low because pretty much all of the gore happens off screen (Think Halloween) but the acting is just fine. This movie was 4 years ahead of Halloween and seems like it played a fairly big influence in John Carpenter's style. A nice little twist at the ending of this to make considerably less cheery than the Hollywood norm makes it a worthy rent.

B+

Psycho II

I really enjoy this film and over the years it has grown to become one of my favorite sequels. It was filmed like 17 years after the first one and the story takes 17 years after the events of the first one as well. The story is cool and twisted, Anthony Perkins is back reprising the role of Norman Bates and the ending is superb! If you enjoyed the original Psycho, then I think you should give this sequel a shot. You won't be disappointed.
