I don't think I saw any of the original Dragonball, though. I started watching DBZ everyday after school and came in when Frieza arrived on the scene. Frieza would be awesome! Much better than the Cell saga I thought.
I started watching DBZ during the Frieza saga, too...I liked him, but Cell kicks his ass. No questions asked, Cell saga was what really got me hooked. One of my first favourite villains, especially once he got to his Perfect form.

I actually started to really like Buu near the end of his run, too...his fatass form was annoying as Hell, but he got pretty badass as he went on.

What about Vegeta? I hated him at first, but he was pretty damn cool. I'd rather hear Goku referred to as Kakarot anyday.

My kids watched DBZ all the time, now not so much.
But I showed them the trailer and they are excited to see this.

I had no idea there was anything but DBZ.
I'll have to look that up for some reference material:)

Buu kind of killed it for me. I don't think I ever saw the rest of the Buu saga.

I loved Vegeta! I thought he was a great bad guy and he kind of grudgingly came over to the good side later. And then there was Trunks, his pink-haired son from an alternate dimension, he was pretty badass.

[I already know I'm a nerd :p ]

I watched a little DBZ here and there, my brother was really into it. This movie looks terrible and nothing like the series I remember. My favorite was when Goku was young, riding the cloud, turning into a monkey and crap. When people started fusing together with earrings I gave up even trying to understand my brothers explanations of it.

Yea, after reading Rod's review I'm pretty stoked too.

Yeah no kidding.
I'm sure I'll just have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
