First things first....The Matrix series was phenominal....The perfect trilogy (my opinion)....As far as "Saw" is concerned.....I agree it might be the scariest movie made in quite some time.....this is by far, for me the most anticipated horror flick made in the last year or so. Lions Gate is probably the king of the hill when it comes to horror movies. They have had some doozies in this genre and seems like they are on a roll to keep that title. I have read that they are coming out with five horror movies next year---an unheard of feat in the movie industry.

I can't see where anyone has written what they through of Saw? I thought it was great! I'm easily scared but it was well scary!

I thought it was a little like Seven but it was really clever I thought! You'd never guess who the killer was... although I did think that (I can't remember his name) the guy from Robin Hood Men in Tights shouldn't have been cast in that part his acting through some of it was laughable. In fact me and my friend left the cinema laughing at the last few words his said before the end of the film (I won't give it away in case people haven't seen it).

I'm sorry if someone has already post this somewhere else, please don't swear at me! I'm sensitive!

I just got back from seeing Saw and I was impressed.

**SPOILERS**

The movie starts with Adam played by Leigh Whannell waking up in a dirty disgusting bath tub. He is in the dark and not aware of where he is. Then the lights come on and he is all of a sudden in a disgustingly dirty bathroom with someone else. The man he is with is Doctor Lawrence Gordon played by Cary Elwes. The are both chained to pipes and not aware of how they got there.

The film goes indepth of a killer named Jigsaw. He makes people kill eachother because they are hateful of their pretty decent lives. After clues are found the two men try to figure everything out. The do flash backs of other characters like Detective David Tapp played by the man himself Danny Glover and Dr. Gordon's wife Alison played by Monica Potter.

This film is pretty wacked on a few levels....Not alot of blood but some sweet scenes of someone getting their guts rippped out and someone sawing their own foot off. Also a nice throat slash. The greatest invention ever by the way is the reverse bear trap lol. Overall the acting is kind of dull. Cary Elwes is kind of a cry baby and Leigh Whannell needs some lessons. Danny Glover did a great job as a detective again, reminiscant of 'Lethal Weapon.' All in all this is a great thriller that will keep you guessing over and over. This is film is not like Se7en. Se7en is far supperior but this is a good movie nontheless.

I give it a 3 1/2 skulls out of 5.

Just watched "Saw"

I didnt find it to be very scary or scary at all for that matter but it did have some kick ass kill scenes i wouldnt call them gory just clever......it was more of a psychological thriller then a horror flick but all in all it was a pretty good movie. What did those of you who have seen it think?

My brother called me to tell me about it last night...

Apparently there is a Deus Ex Machina ending that is worse than Donnie Darko's which is saying something....
