Premonition
God damn this was a great flick! I feel like a retard for having it in my collection for 5 months and not watching it until now. Well put together story, no long-haired ghost girls & some genuine moments that left my jaw hanging. The only thing that bothered me about this movie was I kept thinking through the entire thing about how Hollywood could make a really shitty remake of it. 9.5/10

Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Pulse. I liked it although the subtitles were a little off in their timing. I'm sure Hollywood will do a bang-up job of remaking this gem.

Three Extremes 2
Overall, not nearly as good as the first film, although each of these three had their moments. Memories had some good atmospheric and creepy moments (the dream sequence, the parking garage scene) but was ruined by the stupid, predictable twist. The Wheel was totally baffling. I'm not sure if this one was meant to be surreal, or if there's some cultural nuances there that a round-eye like me just doesn't pick up on, but this one didn't do it for me. Going Home was by far the best of the three, although it wasn't really horrific, mostly just sad. I'd say that this DVD is worth renting, if only for Going Home. Overall: 5/10
