My Wife picked these up for me for a little bit of nothing:

Beyond Suspicion
Mother's Boys
Skulls 2
The other side of Heaven (The "required" chick flick whenever I get movies).

Kimba DVD from the 99 Cents Store.

It's lame because the audio has been redubbed so it's not what I heard back in the 70's. However, you can choose English or Spanish language options, which is cool because I never heard Kimba en espanol.

Not really, just a few words. But I can pick up a little here and there when I'm watching movies. Spy Kids (Mini Espias) is good in Spanish.

Dude, it's cool. You should try it. You might learn something. About yourself. (????)

I have an imported Japanese "King Kong vs. Godzilla" disc that has no English at all, and I know basically no Japanese, but I can watch it. I'm kooky like that.

They even...but...there's people talking outside, they're yammering about something. Hold on.

(comes back two minutes later without explaining what happened)

Anyway. This Godzilla disc kicks ass, because it's really quiet for all the talking scenes, very flat, and then when the monsters show up the sound goes up REALLY LOUD. When Godzilla roars, it's like GREEEEEEE-ONK!!!! really deafening... And once, a friend came by when I had this on, and he said you could hear it all the way out in the street. I mean, I had it up loud, but I didn't think it was THAT loud.

you're as bad as i am ..

i'd like to get the book by Bruce Campbell ... that and the Dario Argento bio.

Right now i'm reading Hard Core Roadshow - a book written in diary form about the making of HArd Core Logo - canadas answer to Spinal Tap .. only this is about a punk band.

if you like movies about Rock and Roll .. or you're interested in screenwriting - i would check this book out.
