Guinness is pretty good. I was fortunate enough to have a cold pint of it in a pub just twenty kilometers or so from St. James' Gate.

I'm drinking a bottle of Spaten Optimator right now. Very good. It's really thick with a smooth, stodgy malt flavor. It's almost a meal in a bottle.

One of my dreams is to have a Guinness in Ireland someday.

My wife is very similar. She rarely drinks (i dont think she has had a thing since march), but she can pound Jaegermeister like its water. She doesnt make a face or anything, she just smiles.

When our daughter is finally in school, my kid isnt going to say "my dad could kick your dad's ass", shes going to say "my mom can kick your dad's ass" :)

i rarely drink beer ... maybe 2 - 3 a year tops (Newb just shuddered - like someone walked on his grave)

when i do have a beer ... i really enjoy a Guinness. kind of weird ... i cant drink an entire lighter beer unless i'm dying of thirst and there is a freezer cold Corona near.

i'm the same with red meat .. i hardly ever eat it - but when i do it has to be rare ... quite the opposite of people who dont like red meat
