Why is it OK for SOME people to be constant and complete and utter douches around here (present company included), but I get pointed out as being (or "about to become") an insolent prick?

There is a certain degree of good old boy networking on HDC and we have to be cautious about it. I have not seen any displays of belligerence out of Chrono, only strong opinions and some statements that might offend anti-intellectual elements here. Just as "hoitie-toity-faggot-bookreadin' types" like myself and Chrono have to beware of snobbery, so too do certain others have to beware of automatically thinking somebody's wrong or trying to snow them just cause they use fancy words or actually analyze things.

Careful, you may need one of those "good old boy" types to help you out one day. They usually have some large trailers and that might be the only way to get that ego of yours from place to place.
