I think it's because, I can make latex masks, effects, etc.. Ghosts don't bother me anymore. And I know that when the lights go out, the scariest thing out there, are humans. |

The one game that's ever really frightened the hell out of me was Clock Tower 2.
I remember playing it when I was maybe 14 and hearing the little girl laughing, and then things just coming out running at you. Traumatized me. Then my friend bought Clock Tower 3 and invited me over, such a creul bastard he was. Brought my memories back, with better graphics. Also ObsCure was quite chilling too. |

Silent Hills always Creeped me out. I rememeber when I was little I'd ask my brother where all the zombies were in Resident Evil 1(like he could do that lol, told me to stop being a pussy).
From the little bit of Condemned I played freaked me out, I looked over this balcony and this guy jumped up and I started shooting and he dropped back down HAHA that scared me. One part in Resident Evil 1, the hallways where that room with the dropping ceiling, and the angles made it scary, and when I FINALLY got over the fact there was nothing there, I had to come back later on in the game and a green monster called a hunter popped out from behind one of the walls. Before mentioned The Licker that break through the Two way mirror in Resident Evil 2. Resident Evil 3 anytime the Nemesis Chased me. I tried playing the SNES Clocktower but it was too hard. Something very scary about being chased by just one guy instead of killing a bunch of enemies. The scary thing about video games is it feels like its YOU, its you the whole time. Instead of like movies where someone walks into a room and the camera switches as if the monster is watching(which I always hated because you don't get the fear they are feeling, it's just a camera angle) Last edited by CrimsonFiend138; 12-11-2008 at 10:49 PM. |

When I was little... (and if you have heard of this game you'll no doubt laugh) Corridor 7 scared me so much. But that's why I loved it. I would spend a good five minutes readying myself to hit this switch that would release some big slimy eyeballs... then run away like a sissy! Aaah, good times.
Apart from that, Quake II... I remember having a few nightmares brought on by that game. But again it's why I loved it. I'll admit, even today I get scared playing certain video games... mainly Resident Evil (I was playing the remake on the Gamecube) that game gave me way too many jolts. And the Silent Hill series ♥ ♥ ♥ I have to inch my way through those. But eh! Being scared is fun so I'm not all that ashamed to be scared of pixels. :) |

The first run in with a berzerker in Gears of War scared the shit out of me the other day. Not fun at all.
