Already got my 'Get drunk at the weekend' planned. It just makes the week that much more tolerable.

I know exactly what you mean about boring job. I'm trying for a complete change of direction myself - from office worker to electrician by the end of the year, hopefully. Too much time spent pushing pens.... :(

My sons grandfather slapped him upside his head in Wal-Mart, nothing harsh just a little "act right" slap to the noggin.A fucking cop was waiting for him at the door. Some old bitch called the fucking cops. What the hell was he supposed to do, let my son run around like a maniac disturbing everyone?Luckily he knew the cop and nothing was done.

Today....I will wake up about 11am....then work for about an hour (2 at most).....then go buy a 12 pack of beer, and try my best to finish it by dinner time. Watch American Idol. Then go get a second 12 pack....do it all again tomorrow.

I guess you misunderstood, I believe "spare the rod, spoil the child" but I've found push-ups to be a more effective punishment.Plus its better for them than a bruise.I do not think it is wrong to spank or slap as long as it is not excessive.

As far as I can see, if it's a lesson for the kids to learn, rather than malicious and cruel, then it's a good thing. There are other ways that work for some people, but ultimately it's about educating your kids to be the best they can be.

How can anybody learn responsibility when they don't have any consequences?
