The mutant of which you speak is simply called Angel, AKA Warren Worthington. Angel was one of the original X-Men, apearing in the very 1st issue in 1963. In the movie, he's being played by Ben Foster. Personally, Ive never been a fan of Angel, so Im not overly excited about him being in the movie, but you never know, I guess. He could be cool....

Psylocke Joins the X-Men 3 Villains
Source: The Hollywood Reporter December 29, 2005 The evil mutant assassin Psylocke has joined the lineup of X-Men 3, which 20th Century Fox will release on May 26, 2006. The Hollywood Reporter says the character will be played by Filipina actress Mei Melancon, who previously worked with "X3" director Brett Ratner in Rush Hour 2. Psylocke, who has had several incarnations in the Marvel comic book series, is best known for her fighting and telepathic skills as well as an ability to transport herself and others through shadows. In the film, she will fight against the X-Men as a member of Magneto's (Ian McKellen) Brotherhood of Mutants. |

Patrick Stewart on X-Men 3
Source: TrekWeb.com December 30, 2005 TrekWeb.com says UK's DreamWatch magazine has a new interview with Patrick Stewart in which he talks about X-Men 3. Here's a clip: "The script, I believe, is the best script of the three." he said "It's very intense, it's very emotional, it's very personal about the individuals that we've already got to know in the first two movies. It has some astonishing set-piece sequences. It has a number of quite significant deaths. [From] what I've seen so far, I think, it's likely to be extraordinary. Some absolutely outstanding work is happening in Vancouver - including from some of the new people who've come onboard ranging from Kelsey Grammer to Vinnie Jones, who are now part of the X-MEN family, If anyone saw Brett's RED DRAGON, which I thought was an outstanding film, I don't think they have any reason to be nervous." ----------------------------------------------------------------- He might be talking about the rumor I heard about Xavior, Magneto, and Cyclops dieing in X3. |
