I can't think of any horror movies that still scare me. On the other hand I am terrified of monkies. Terrible terrible little things...

Oh, I've got a weird one.

Dragonflies scare the shit out of me. People constantly try to explain that they dont bite, sting, or hurt you at all, but they are the scariest animal I have ever seen. My mother feels the need to decorate our porch with a dragonfly theme. Even fake ones scare me.

I fully expect someone to post a huge pic of a dragonfly after this, which will probably scar me for life. Them suckers are scary.

the thing that still freaks me out is scenes in movies like 'evil dead 2'when annie's boyfriend suddenley appears and say's "we are the thing's that were and shall be again!"or in 'the shining 'when the o'grady twins are standing at the end of the hall holding hands.or when micheal meyers is watching jamie lee curtis from the backyard, behind the blowing sheets,in halloween.i could go on and on,but,i'll shut up.wait was i only supposed to talk about only one movie?sorry.

Spontaneous Human Combustion scares the shit out of me.
I’ve read countless horror novels over the years, and can read about anything at all, even true life mysterious stuff like UFO’s, Poltergeists, Demonic Possession, true crime stuff, but when it comes to SHC, I just hate it… And anyone who thinks that phenomenon has been scientifically proved to be no longer a mystery, the wick effect and all that crap, then you had better read more on this subject… for one thing, the wick effect, when it is Made to work, takes literally hours, whereas SHC can happen in minutes…. One minute you are alive and smiling, next minute you are burning to death, from the inside. In less than 10 minutes, you are dead, nothing but dust, and that can happen at any time, to any body, in any place, with or without others around… oh, and by the way, if it does ever happen to you, do Not jump in the shower… water fuels the flames!!!

None of this is proven. I'd love to see it though.

Also if SHC is real, I doubt very much there are flames involved.

If I'm burning from the inside until I turn to "dust", I don't think I'll have to worry about jumpin' in the ol' shower.

Thumbs up Wolf Creek

'Wolf Creek' (new movie set in the Australian outback) is the only thing I've seen in a long time which actually shocked me.

It makes Texas Chainsaw look moralistic!

Some of the Asian horror Ring, Grudge etc are actually scary in a kind of haunt you after the film is over kinda way

theres a top twenty list of scariest ever at rawfear.net which is pretty spot on (and some good comedy/worst ever charts too)
