MURDER BY DECREE (1979). Another Sherlock Holmes VS Jack The Ripper film and really good, we thought, with an excellent cast and pretty good film work for a low budget offering.. Christopher Plummer/James Mason excell as Holmes/Dr. Watson and I would have liked to have seen more pairings of them. Directed with style by Bob Clark (PORKY'S, A CHRISTMAS STORY and the original BLACK CHRISTMAS). ****

One of mine as well...hard to believe it's that old. Was living in Panama Canal Zone when I finally saw it in Feb 1976 and kept me out of the water for awhile, even with the shark cages at some of the beaches as I just KNEW there was some hungry monster just below the surface!
A stone cold classic.

FEROCIOUS FEMALE FREEDOM FIGHTERS. 1982

An old Indonesian martial arts/action film is totally re-dubbed with a satirical soundtrack by Troma films. Its cleverly done and laugh out loud funny!

I got to check that out with a buddy of mine. We watched a lampooned English 'country bumkin' dub of Gamera 2 1996 on youtube -- was pretty funny.
