Not sure if this is considered a classic, but I just watched Critters. Damn I love this movie.

River's Edge (1986)

Great characters. Great acting and fucking rocking sound track plus the creepy Kid from Near Dark. Shudder.

I've never seen Critters but I've wanted to see it for a while. I lump it in with Ghoulies because I haven't seen that one either... I think Critters might be On Demand...

Just a warning about the original Ghoulies. It is pretty bizarre and boring at the same time. The second is way better in my opinion. On the other hand Critters is very 80s, but in a fun way. I got all 4 Critters films in a 2 disc set at walmart for 5$. Or here is a link to Critters 1 broken down into a few parts.

Thumb resize.

Watched this with my brother and I enjoyed it! Very creepy for sure and I loved the twist.

Just watched Critters 2. If anyone thought that Critters bared a resemblance to the Gremlins then this film is probably why. It is kind of a shame that they changed directors from Stephen Herek to Mick Garris. Overall this was still a fun ride, but all the tension and character development, that made the first film mean something, were drained from this film.

One of my all time favorites. Definitely one of the best films to come out of the 80s.

Hmmm, funny, I never knew they made a film out of this book. I became interested in the book because it was the first book written by Thomas Harris. Of course he is now known for his book series featuring Hannibal Lecter. Thanks for pointing this film out :)
