Maximum Overdrive ('86)
From Stephen King's cocaine days, sort of Convoy meets Night of the Comet with a vaguely King-esque vibe, lots of AC/DC in the soundtrack, you could tell he was cracked out from the get-go but it's rather endearing.

The Blob (1988) because I hadn't seen some cheesy, horror goodness in a few hours.
I'm in the middle of Anthropophagus (1980) right now. |

Just finished watching Pet Semetary. This is one of my favorite Stephen King movie and for some reason I've just been an idiot and completely didn't realize that Jud is friggin Herman Munster. I guess it just took me to put two and two together because Jud doesn't look like Frankenstein's monster but after I figured it out I was like well duh no wonder he's looked so familiar all these years lol. Anyway I just started Evil Dead 2 and my fiance is probably going to be pissed because this is his favorite horror movie and I'm watching it without him.

Nightmare on Elm Street 4 -
I didn't really watch this one. I just had it on while working. I think I've only seen parts before. Maybe the whole movie once but I can't remember. Only parts are familiar probably because I saw pictures in horror magazines when I was young. Namely that waterbed scene. And do people even use waterbeds anymore? That seems like an 80s thing. But I had this on just listening to the music. There are some great 80s tunes in it. Starting with the opening song to the credits. I'm going to get that Nightmare on Elm Street set and watch the whole series one of these days. |

The Creeping Flesh (1973)
![]() Not as good as I remember - pretty muddling plot about a scientist played by Peter Cushing who finds the missing link in the form of a giant skeleton that can regenerate. Meanwhile is wife dies in an Insane Asylum run by Chris Lee and it looks like his daughter is going to end up barking mad too. Not a Hammer film despite the cast (Michael Ripper is there too) and time frame. |
