Just watched The Battery for like the 80th time, not sure if there was a thread about it but one of the best movies I've seen 10/10 <-- rare, my snobby ass never gives that

Haunt 2013. 2 out of 5.

This movie was not immersive. It was quite dull. The only 'scares' were weak and routine. The characters were also weak. I could not finish this film, which normally I give a film one star for. However the one unusual aspect in this film made me wistful a bit, the family and the girl from the house next door were all well adjusted. The family was loving, warm, and open with each other. A rarity in general and particularly in movies. It wasn't a 'family friendly' cliche or movie rating type of thing. But I wouldn't recommend it. The fact that I could not immerse myself in the story is its biggest negative.

Cut/Print, 2012. 7/10

Thumb resize.

Had some CGI to the FX and that takes points away from the film but the players were awesome! Really felt real. Found footage with an instagramish feel. Nice.

Horns

I really enjoyed it. Thought Daniel Radcliffe did an excellent job.

I watched The Deaths of Ian Stone last night. Not sure how I feel about it. I liked the way it was filmed. The premise was fun if not a little to Matrix-y. There were some solid death scenes. I would say 7/10.
