![]() At the back of my mind I always wanted to check this out - I loved the few Bartel films I've seen and this sounded interesting...I was very so suprised by how amazing it was... Bad girl Cheryl runs after thieving from friends to hideout in a weird old hotel run by her Aunt. The place is a freak show of strange characters - alkies, pervie Priests and porno photographers and Cherly fits right in.. Played way straighter than I expected from Bartel and avoids (most of the time) to rely on camp laughs. Great acting (from the main cast) and an amazing location make this an excellent dark off beat 'thriller'... |
