Aww, always sad when it happens to a douchebag. Then you GOTTA see the rest of the movie.

Savaged 2013

I think this deserves at least an 8 out of 10. Another revenge flick featuring a strong female lead, but pleasantly gory and surprisingly well put-together. I thought the music and cinematography were fantastic. The film was just visually beautiful throughout. Some of the death scenes were super cool and the main actress does a phenomenal job of playing the broken-girl, as well as the bloodthirsty, ruthless killer. I really enjoyed this one! Check it out.

Pro Wrestlers Vs. Zombies (2014)

Obviously low budget but having been an avid wrestling fan in the past I found many of the inside jokes pretty funny. I also love Roddy Piper so it was worth watching just to see him bashing a zombie in the head with a coconut.

Wolfcop (2014)

Again, kind of low budget, but there were some fairly entertaining spots. At the end, it said Wolfcop 2 coming next year...if it does, I'll definitely check it out.

Watched about half of The Taking of Deborah Logan just now, but I'm really tired. I'll finish it tomorrow because I liked it so far.

WORLD WAR Z (2013). Found this dull and way too loud. Had heard how awesome this was, b ut felt it had been presented before and much better by 28 WEEKS LATER. **

The Taking of Deborah Logan

Yep... no.

First 45 minutes had some good scary scenes, but after that, it just got really cliched and boring. Just another possession movie.

Interstellar (2014)

Chris Nolan's first venture into pure science-fiction, inspired by renowned physicist Kip Thorne's research & theories. Well...may be I'm not a science guy but as far my little knowledge & understanding goes, I think may be for the very first time here I've seen something that I like to call as a Wasted Opportunity for Mr. Nolan. Thing is, Interstellar offers a good story with great cast & visuals, no doubt but only one of those stories that's just a good read, not a million dollar budget movie material, IMO. Though there's plenty of far more disappointing or worse films get release every year with more or less same million dollar budget but the reason I've just said that is I didn't expect only a good or decent sci-fi flick from Chris Nolan, specially after building such huge anticipation for its contents; I expected something spectacular or extraordinary that would blew my mind away! Surely Nolan brothers selected here very interesting & great contents (i.e. wormholes, black holes & gravitational waves) for their first "Sci-fi Epic" but my frustration is they could have & should have done a gripping sci-fi THRILLER with said contents than to go along with a safer route which is actually merely a sci-fi adventure-DRAMA and after watching this, to some extent it even feels like it'd better be a docu-drama instead. They had materials on their table with which if they could have dared more or played with those ideas more, we'd get something close to a true sci-fi masterpiece like Blade Runner, Alien, Star Wars or even 2001: A Space Odyssey!

Anyway, it's a good film & needless to say offers a better story & contents than Upside Down for sure but frustrated me somewhat like the same way as that film did with the promising content(s).

Maybe my expectation was too high but sorry Mr. Nolan, you disappointed me this time in your Interstellar voyage.

Yeah, you set your expectations WAY too high if you thought it was gonna the next 2001 or Alien...
