Added support for Karate Kid into the list above.

It's a call for fresh voting from the remaining films, so all of you can vote again for those which you feel should make the cut for the final 100.

I'll wait till some of you go ahead, before putting my choices forward.

I'm not really clear about the fate of 'backburner' films. Although, as you say, some of them have the most negations, they also have the most initial votes, and are most likely to get more additional supportive votes when looking comparatively at the 'big list'.

As a fake example, maybe Shawshank Redemption got 3 negs, but had 2 initial support votes, and an additional 1 vote during discussion, for a total of +0.

If we 19-some folks look at all those +1 films, four people who haven't chimed in on Shawshank may say Shank is better than most of the '+1 films', and thus make it a +4 film.

For that reason, would you list the backburner films that have not made it into the Top 100 films?

Actually, the films in the backburner are the ones which received the most objections when we started the debate.

I'd say the films with any/all support in the 1-nomination list get precedence here. Instead of making things more complicated by adding those in the backburner, let's finish completely with the 1-nominations. Once we finish rustling through this list, we shall tackle all the remaining films, including the ones in the backburner.

There are still 37 films (+25 Honorable Mentions) needed, so we need at least 20-25 out of this present lot. The backburner films can fill any/few slots remaining.

Due to lack of interest/voters/supporters, I'll have to close this compilation.

No choice.

Thank you for your work on it V. I really enjoyed participating. I thought it was a great idea. It's obvious to me our HDC members know a great deal about films of all genres. Maybe it's timing. Maybe more a Winter event.
