AREA: infinite.
The Hitchickers guide to the galaxy provides this definition of the word infinite.
Bigger than the biggest thing ever and then some. Much bigger than that in fact, really amazingly immense, a totally stunning size, real "wow thats big," time. Infinity is just so big that, by comparison, bigness itself looks really quite titchy. Gigantic multiplied by colossal multiplied by staggeringly huge is the sort of concept were trying to get across here.

IMPORTS: none
It is impossible to import things into an infinite area, there being no outside to import things in from.

EXPORTS: none
(see imports)

Oh yes. Its the old conflicting interests problem.

My girlfriend and i have totally different interests. Example: I like horror films - she likes girly romantic comedies and shit; I love punk/rock and she likes cheesy pop. But she would never stop me watchin/listenin to what i want to listen to.

S'good now cos we've bought a new house with a spare room that i've turned into a study/chill out room. Decorated it the way I wanted to (she got to chose the decor for the lounge, kitchen etc.). So when i want to watch my stuff or listen to my music, i go chill out here and she ay allowed to come disturb me unless shes carryin a beer in one hand and a pizza in the other.

Seriously mate, you gotta tell your friend to beef up or this girl is gonna be controlin his life forever.

Latas.....p

By the sound of this, i can only assume you are staraight and/or never had a girlfreind yourself (;)), hellfire. MANY women out there are psycho control freaks who dont want their guys following any of their interests, lest they think for themselves. Not that i have ever been with any like that.....

Dont worry, orange. You will find someone. Just make sure they appreciate you, otherwise some of us may have to make our way out west and kick his ass. :)

You're a good catch. You are also young, so be patient. i didnt have my first date until i was 17.

My wife's not into horror the way I am. But she does watch a lot of the movies with me. She is the perfect example of the kind of customer Blockbuster targets/caters to. Put a sign or label on it saying "new release" or one with nice shiny coverart and she'll get it. She brought home a "horror" movie the other night, when she showed it to me I told her we had already seen it on the Sci-fi channel 6-8 weeks ago. She argued Blockbuster had it out as a new release, and I told her for them it is new, for us it's not.

She does sit there and watch a lot of my films, so in turn I'll set and watch her type of movies, but we have to watch hers first or I'll fall asleep if we watch them later.

Is she at least hot, i mean since she is crazy?

lets hope so....

Ah well, some people got it good, some don't....horror movies (IMO) is not something that both of you should HAVE to enjoy, but there shouldn't be any restrictions, so to speak. If the other person doesn't like it, they don't have to watch it, that's as far as it should go really.
If this person is involved in a genuine relationship, they'll have the respect to realise that this person should not have to be changed (nor their habits) to her specifications. Take your partner as they are, because if they're not how you want them to be in the first place, they never will be.

Damn I'm glad my girl digs horror just as much as me, I'm currently involved in a 5 year, HORROR FILLED relationship
...heh-heh...

You live "the key to a good relationship is compromise". Good for you :)

I have found this works for me too. Bree is shocked that i will sit through Queer eye for the straight guy and Sex in the city with her, even though for almost a YEAR all we watched was what i wanted to. I feel i am paying my dues (plus i secretly like queer eye....)

Plus, she actaully enjoys horror. She knows more about freddy and jason that i would ever care to :)
