I stopped bothering inmost cases because political and religious "debates" are an exercisein pounding your head against the wall. Especially on an internet forum, you arent going to cahnge anyone's views, they are too hard-coded in who we are as people.
I do like intelligent discussion, though. conversations between bwind and stingy are usually very engaging. Ege usually adds some useful tidbits, as does orangestar. Fluffho always has something interesting to say. But in the end, i do kinda wish things were more horror these days. Political discussion is inevitable in any settign with the election so close, though.

Nah, do what my dad did. Walk right up to the recruiter's office and enlist. its kind of like killing yourself before being put to death, at least you get to choose how you go.
