There is Bob "Poons" Polunski who garnered a robust local fan base in Pricedale, Pa. when he penned the now famous "Who's Giving Handers in the Research Lab?" and "Lola's Last Purse" in 1938. My grandfather had a picture of himself with Bob taken in front of Shemmie's All Day Sandwich House. Bob.
