He follows Peter Cushing's character into the roses and gets impaled - I think.

i watched it last night ..

its not roses, its a hawthorn tree .. the same material that provided Christ with his 'crown of thorns'


and it is indeed the Satanic Rites of Dracula or .. Count Dracula and His Vampire Bride - the american version.
