Well Eminem is a white guy who acts gangsta on MTV, but everybody enjoys him just fine. Plus just because you age, doesnt mean your music or personality will auto-change.

unless you're phil collins, peter gabriel, david byrne, or sting ..

in which case you switch to World Music in an attempt to remain cool (with other 40 something tree hugers wearing funky vests)

god bless David Bowie .. the only geezer who retained any dignity and relevance.

Great man..but i gotta give it up for Clapton. From the Yardbirds, to Cream, to his solo work with previously mentioned Phil Collins on drums. He still is one of the best guitarists of all time i think.

he is .. but i lost interest in his music after cream and derick and the dominos.

I never found his solo stuff to be ballsy enought to be interesting.
(a good guitar alone hasnt been enough for me since Hendrix.

I'm not really a big fan of Eric Clapton at all. Cream had some amazing songs tho. I've been listening to heaps of Pantera recently Dimebag's guitar work is right up there with Hendrix especially on Reinventing The Steel (the opening to Revolution is my name kicks my ass). I've been meaning to check out the new NIN album but haven't got round to it yet. The Downward Spiral will always be one of my all time favorite albums truely an amazing album (the new deluxe edition is fucking awesome - the bonus disc has some of the best remixes ever done).
