So I am guessing that since you knew what movie I was talking about with such few details on my behalf, you have seen it. What did you think? Was it really gross considering when it was made? a very good film, especially when you consider when it was made, low budget canadian film

If I recall correctly, the bladders on this movie were inflated with ketchup bottles. I'm fairly certain this is correct! So there was a little group of people squeezing ketchup bottles just out of frame.

It's not really the first time air bladders were used in live action creature effects, nor really was "The Exorcist." A lot of people are unaware, for example, that James Arness's creature makeup in "The Thing" had vein channels that throbbed when inflated.

Ah, the font of useless knowledge.
