and Christina Ricci is hott in this one. I still think the best part is the windmill scene.

You know, call me silly, but I enjoyed this movie a LOT. Saw it twice in the theatres. I really don't think of it as something that's to be taken too seriously, more as a piece of really crazy special effects/atmosphere filmmaking.

It was sort of goofy, kindof humorous too, but, most horror movies don't work without at least a little humor in it.

Depp was great in Fear and Loathing... and just when you expected the drug-fuelled madness to calm down in the film, it upped the ante even more.

Sleepy Hollow is one of Burton's best films, not being quite as drenched in his sometimes overly-quirky "visionary style" - it's rather violent and scary and probably worried quite a few kids who'd gone expecting something a little more fairy-tale.

Geeze, whats with all the ancient threads being dug up recently?

Anyway, I still love this movie. Same cannot be said for a certain someone mentioned on the first page, but hey, the movie still rocks! I cant imagine back when I thought Depp was a bad actor....that was after seeing him in a grnd total of 2 movies: Nightmare on Elm Street and Pirates of the Carribean. After having seen him in dozens more films, he's one of my favourite actors.

I thought he was really good in Pirates.

Anyway...I thought Sleepy Hollow was a very good movie. Atmosphere, acting, directing ect. had the whole 9 yards.
