Outstanding flick.
I recommend this highly to all my friends in HDC, especially those who love their giant monster flicks with a dose of morality.

Simon of the Desert (1965)

I love this movie so much- in fact, I think subsequent viewings only improve the humor. One of the great accidents in cinematic history, and one of the funniest films of Bunuel's extensive career. Again, I'm recommending this to Fortunato, Avi, Return, neverending, Papillon Noir, roshiq, and anyone else interested in a hell of a good, blasphemous time.

Dolan’s Cadillac (2009)

Wes Bentley is badly miscast for the role of Robinson (a school teacher who seek to avenge his wife's death after she is murdered by a Las Vegas mobster), his expressions never really changes throughout the film. He’s a dull, boring teacher before his wife gets killed, and he’s a dull, boring teacher afterward. Except now he’s got a grudge against the untouchable Jimmy Dolan. Perhaps that is somewhat justifiable after his wife Elizabeth is murdered, but what exactly was Robinson’s excuse before that? Besides this points it's not entirely a bad movie. Worth a watch to see Christian Slater in the film. He did a decent job with the title character.
Overall, a time passing mediocre revenge flick that would probably better for a tighter-paced 30 minute TV episode of a Stephen King series.

I thought maybe there would be a good story here, but not really.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

I haven't seen the origanal, but this was an ok time waster. Why is there always an anoying kid in these movies?

Keanu Reeves was made for that role though.... huhuha...
