I didn't understand the ending, or the morale of the movie..

Just found it frustrating and sad.
It is supposed to frustrating and sad. It is a tale of quiet desparation.

The ending reveals the moral
***SPOILER*** (highlight to read)
no situation can justify theft, as you never know who or how it could impact someone else's life
***end spoiler***

Knowing

I'm confused, he is hanging with Rose Byrne, he knows the world is about to end the next day and he still isn't making a move?????

Pretty cool movie otherwise. I don't know about Ben Mendelson playing an American though.

7/10

The sequel where Norris is in a POW camp is pretty cool too.

The Enforcer isn't to bad but is prolly my least favorite Dirty Harry flick.

Did those discs I sent turn up yet?
No discs yet that Im aware of, I'll find out if they came tomorrow.

The Mini-Skirt Mob (1968)

Okay Newb & Elvis- this is one to catch.

The leader of a rodeo riding motorcycle gang decides to leave the gang and marry a good girl. His jilted flame, the girl too bad to marry doesn't take kindly to this and will stop at nothing to get her man back.

Rediculous script & awful acting combine to make this a howlarious great watch. 5th billed- Harry Dean Stanton! 4th billed is Patty McCormack- the Bad Seed from the 1956 movie of the same name. She sings the title song too!

The good girl is so whiney & helpless you're just praying she'll get it in the end. Or sooner.

It's in the Drama section of On Demand Newb- check it out.

The Changeling (1980). One of my favourite movies now that I've rewatched it. Last time I saw it I was little. This is the first time a movie has really scared me. i've been upset/disturbed by modern horror movies, but it took a gem from the 80's with virtually no gore to make me afraid toget out from under the covers.

Trekkies ..

the first of 2 docs about Star Trek devotees..
Been sitting on this one for a while - finally put it on.

wow - talk about a range of emotions .. alternately hilarious, terrifying, rediculous - and even moving ...

one thing is for sure ... rabid Trek fans are profoundly unbalanced....to the very last one.

Suspira. This flick was decent enough. Not as great as i thought it would be. The soundtrack, which was awesome, carried it in my opinion. Ashe.

Brotherhood of Death.

agree with NE......not as fun as it could have been....but not without it's 70s "grindhouse / Blaxploitation" charms.

@NE---I will be looking for The Mini-Skirt Mob . I don't have comcast but so far "Cox" has the same movies...so I should be able to find it.
