Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)
Hat's off to the director Peter Wier for handling the subject matter in a so enigmatic and intriguing way. A pretty sad, touching and suppressive story that got a proper celluloid treatment through lyrical cinematography and perfect casts. After the film also glad to see the short interviews of some tourists, producer and the actress who played the role of Miranda. Thanks to V for remiding about it lately.:) >>: A

9 to 5 : Days in Porn
docu on the porno business. it barely scratched the surface - seemed to start out fairly neutral then it was almost like the filmmaker couldnt take the sleaze anymore and the film took a negative and depressing slant .. which is probably just what it would be like - after months of exposure to these kinds of people. |
