As I mentioned in a couple other threads, I just got back from a vacation. For my mother, it was a trip down memory lane as we went to a place she went to as a kid. For my dad, it was an excerise in boredom as there was next to nothing for him to do.

Why am I posting this here you ask?

Because, my good friends, for me it was a shopping trip! I didnt even pay attention to how much I was spending...I figured Im only in the states once or twice a year, I might as well take advantage of it.

I love shopping in the states...not only is there a better selection in most of the stores, everything is so much cheaper! Even when you factor in exchange rates, movies are still really cheap compared to here. I love it!

Anyway, heres the damage in no particular order:

- Robert Rodriguez: Mexico Trilogy (El Mariachi/Desperado/Once Upon a Time In Mexico)

- One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

- Dead Birds

- Equilibirum

- Halloween II

- Creep

- Boo

- Dead/Alive (I was so damn excited to run across this, impossible to find up here :D)

- Get Shorty (2-Disc SE)

- Undead

- Silent Trigger

- Man-Thing

- Cemetery Man (Up yours Anchor Bay! I should have been able to get this at home but nooooo you had to screw up the rights)

- Night of the Living Dead '68 (Ok, so it's my 3rd copy of this one. It's just a cheap public domain copy, but I wanted to have it on it's own DVD. My other copies are both part of different sets).

- Carnival of Souls (Same as above, but it's only my second copy of this)

I think that's it for the movies....I almost grabbed "A Different Loyalty" just to say I own one of the worst movies ever....but then I decided that even a buck fifty would be too much for that piece of shit.

Last but not least, I got the Watchmen graphic novel. Been hearing great things about it lately, so I figured that I aught to pick it up. Ive already read the first chapter and part of the second....damn cool already!

Ok....Im pretty sure that's it. Im pretty damn happy with my shopping:D

While on vacation, I went into a little cafe for lunch, wearing the T-Shirt I got when I saw Alice in concert not long ago. One of the lady's working (older lady, Id say late 50s/early 60's) came up and asked where I got the shirt....turns out she knew "Vince" when they were kids. I thought that was pretty cool.
