21 Grams. Phenomenal flick. Not sure whose performance was the best, but i think that it may have been Naomi Watts'. Ashe.

Resident Evil: Degeneration.

Okay im a fan of RE games. This movie was the closest thing to the game I've seen. Theres only a few problems. Leon looked like a girl. Zombies were only in it for 20 mins, and last well I would of loved to see more of the original people in there. Maybe some Claire Redfield, Wesker, and Chris Redfield. It was a great concept to make the movie look like the cut scenes of the game but they could of done alot more. Other than that it had a pretty good story and i definatly recommend seeing it.

Thumbs up

Død Snø aka Dead Snow

started off like your typical annoying 20 somethings gathering for the slaughter.....but once it shifted into gear it was great. Very "over the top" zombie movie.

and Nazi zombies to boot.

lots of gore in this one

Totally agreed - the first one that's felt anything like the game.
Leon always looked like a girl if y'ask me, and yeah...I'm kind of sick of every movie avoiding the Chris Redfield character, for fucks sake, he was the protagonist of the original game...no respect I tell ya...
I look forward to another one of these and NO more of the other ones.

Same here. Chris is by far my favorite characeter and it pisses me off when hes not in any of the movies. Hopefully if they made another one like degeneration its got more zombies, some chris love, and a even better story line. Id love to see resident evil 1 as a movie i loved the whole mansion concept.

I also agree with the actually movies sucking. Why did they even call it resident evil all it had was the t virus and nemesis other then that it was crap.

Twilight:

So i have been putting off seing this for a very long time. I just made fun of the movie based on reviews for the longest time but some Twilight fans started calling me a hypocrite. I decided to read the first book just to see how bad Stephanie Meyer butchered vampires. Just as Stephen King said, her writing is atrocious. It's an okay concept for a story but has been done a thousand times by one thousand times better authors. If you're a fan of Ann Rice then the Twilight series is going to be a huge, dumbed down disappointment to you.

The movie has me torn though. The first three quarters of the book are squished into the first half of the movie, and the first quarter of the movie is absolutely cheesy. The acting is so over done, and the facial expressions are so forced it made me want to cry. The last half of the movie was pleasant. From the baseball scene forward I was genuinely interested and sort of into it. The acting just got so much better, and the characters were closer to the book. A lot less silliness in general. Kristen Stewart is really good at tripping over heself and looking like a dorky teenager too. I have to admit I was entertained.

Ohhh i knew you would be. Everything you said about it was how i felt as well. The baseball scene is my favorite part. I thought it was the best put together scene in the whole movie actually, everything else was kinda lame. I wonder if kristen stewart will ever be able to play another character though? In new moon she has alot more of a character i think. Im sort of hoping they stick with the book more. I read something saying edward was suppose to be actually scary in new moon. We'll see..

I need to g et reading that one so I can see how bad Meyer butchered werewolves hahah

Ya baseball scene was my favourite. It played up on the family dynamic really well, and also brought out more about each character. Like Rosalie being a bitch, Alice being graceful etc. Would have liked to see more of Aice and Bella's relationship. AND worst part is the ending bit about Alice getting left out. That was the only part about the whole book that genuinely shocked me and they just scrapped it for the movie. I am almost a pissed of (not quite a fan) fan girl about that.
