I always thought most simple words like warm,camera ect. were meant to be pronounced how they were spelled. everybody I know says warm like war with an m.

A lot of people I know say warm with an "u" sound, so it's like "wurm"

That's how it's supposed to be pronounced.
I think folks from the northern states do.....they always carry that long "arrrrr" Like a pirate.
