Didn't know that Canucks use the word "mint". Only ever heard Brits use it. Anyhoo... that scene was great. James McAvoy's whole delivery in the movie is hilarious.

canadians are for the most part nothing more than a bunch of ex-pats.

plus - Toronto being the most multicultural place on the globe - the language is getting very mixed.

besides, i though Brits said : 'brilliant' :D

American Buffalo
Great film from a David Mamet play. Dennis Franz was awesome- great to see him playing something besides a cop. Dustin Hoffman annoyed me a bit.

Element of Crime
Very surreal and unusual crime mystery. Beautifully filmed.

Southern Comfort

loved this movie when it first came out. Still pretty good but some of the dialogue is a bit lame.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I was surprised at how fast the 2 and a half hours went by. there were places where it lagged, and places where it peaked. But a good film overall. Similar to Forrest Gump I suppose because it's all about the people he meets. I enjoyed this and think it is definetely worth a watch.

7.5/10

Classic stuff, love that one. Walter Hill should get back into making flicks like that.

Last watched:

Ed Gein

Enjoyed this a lot more than when I first watched it a few years back. Deranged totally kills it but its still a hell of a lot better than the one with Kane Hodder.
