Otto or Up With Dead People
What a load of shit. I would that hour and a half of my life back. Pretentious as fuck in a lot of places. Some interesting ideas but it wasn't executed very well at all. This would've been a lot better if Greg Araki had directed it. |

Slumdog Millionaire
I had absolutely no intention of seeing this one again - I had planned on a night in to watch Brand Upon the Brain - but a bunch of my friends were going, and since breaking up with my girlfriend I've had just about no social life...I figured I should tag along. Still a good movie, didn't deserve Best Picture...and doesn't hold up well to multiple viewings. Once you know how the story pans out, there really isn't much point. Even though the ending itself is beyond predictable, there are a bunch of little surprises and twists along the way - knowing them in advance really hurt the viewing experience.

Eerie sounds and the creepy atmosphere still almost able to scared the hell out of me in the middle of the night. Thank God, few days back I bought all the dvds of original Ju-On films. >>: A
