Doomsday - Quite ridiculous, but really very fun.

Salo : A really nasty and vile movie. I think the fact that it takes place in a realistic setting makes it even more disturbing IMO.I just wanted to shoot the evil bastards that were torturing all of those poor boys and girls. It definitely ranks in my top 5 most fucked up movies ever. Film-wise, it's well shot and the acting is credible. 7/10

Pineapple Express: I really liked this one. It's not as overly funny as Superbad but definitely has its moments. It was nice to see James Franco in a stoner role (I actually liked him in this one) 7.5/10.

Quantum of Solace (2008)

It's hard to follow such an explosively popular film like Casino Royale, but this sequel does a pretty good job. What was so attractive about its predecessor was the gorgeously lush casino sets, and this one isn't as classy or smooth in its mise-en-scene. That said, the film has a grittier feel to it, and the scenes in the desert are beautiful and moody. The action sequences are wonderfully tense, particularly the opening one and another in the sky. Daniel Craig has settled comfortably into his role; it's nice to see him back in action. I liked it quite a bit.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008)

I didn't find this very funny.

Tremors
Tremors 2: Aftershocks
Tremors 3: Back To Perfection

Don't have the 4th one - the prequel.

Anyone seen it? And, should I bother?

I'm a Tremors fanboy so I like all of them but a lot of people didn't dig the 4th.

Shoot em Up. Holy God, why didn't I see that a lot earlier? I haven't been so into a movie in a long time. Sure a lot of the shit was hokey, but I was literally sitting up straight, legs crossed yoga style, leaning forward a bit like a little kindergarten kid listening to story time. Corny jokes and puns, lots of guns and gore, a cute baby and...... carrots makes for a good movie.

Awesome movie, over the top and just the right amount of self-awareness. Every time I've watched this it was great and everybody who has watched it with me has had a blast... except for one time with one guy who kept spouting off things like "that couldn't happen" or "no way could he do that". I almost kicked the little pecker in his head.

Tears of the Black Tiger

I really liked this one! A genre bender from Thailand that admittedly gets a little slow but doesn't fall off the track completely. Worth seeing for sure, some wicked gunfights.
