THE WILD BUNCH and THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY still get my vote. Well made, important and influential, and darned fun to watch.

The Departed was alright for a remake ;) ... 12 Angry Men gets my support, as does Blade Runner. As does Bonnie and Clyde, Close Encounters, Glengarry Glen Ross, Fargo, Lawrence of Arabia, North by Northwest, Raging Bull, Roshomon, Seven Samurai, and This is Spinal Tap.

The Departed - I didn't care for this film. It was finely shot and acted, but I didn't care for the story and characters. I don't recall being thrilled with the suspense, intrigue, action, but maybe I was too tired. Anyway, I'm Negging it.
V, that was a typo. I meant to type, "Anyway, I'm not Negging it."

Separating the ones which are getting strong support:

12 Angry Men (1957) - 2 (+2)
Apocalypse Now - 2 (+1)
Blade Runner - 2 (+2)
Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - 2 (+1)
North By Northwest - 2 (+1)
Rashomon - 2 (+2)
Rocky - 2 (+1)
Seven Samurai - 2 (+2)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day - 2 (+1)
The Dark Knight - 2
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - 2 (+2)
The Lord of the Rings - 2 (+1)
The Princess Bride - 2
The Wild Bunch - 2 (+1)
This is Spinal Tap - 2 (+1)
Unforgiven - 2 (+1)

These films now join our final 100 listing, unless there's a final objection against any of them.

A last call for debate are for these films:

A Few Good Men - 2 (realdeablues) (+1)
Bonnie & Clyde - 2 (Sculpt) (+1)
Chinatown - 2 (Sculpt) (+1)
Fargo - 2 (realdeablues) (+2)
Glengarry Glen Ross - 2 (realdeablues) (+2)
Inception - 2 (realdeablues)
Lawrence Of Arabia - 2 (Sculpt) (+2)
Raging Bull - 2 (realdeablues) (+2)
The Departed - 2 (realdeablues) (+2)
The Elephant Man - 2 (realdeablues) (+1)
The Lion King - 2 (realdeablues) (+1)

I am for moving those highlighted in BOLD into final selection, because despite getting one objection each, they have garnered 2 supporters each as well. What say?

And, moving these to the backburner:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - 2 (Villain) (realdeablues) (+1)
Gravity - 2 (roshiq) (realdeablues) (Sculpt)
Independence Day - 2 (Villain) (realdeablues) (Sculpt)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - 2 (Villain) (roshiq) (realdeablues)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - 2 (Villain) (realdeablues)

One last call for/against the films above, before we move to the films with single nominations.

We now have 40 spots filled up in our 100. (+ 25 Honorable Mentions)
