No I haven't read the book. I'd be keen to check it out. I usually like to see the movie first then read the book because you've got an image of the characters in your mind but the writer gives you different insights in the characterization that the director didn't.
9/10 times if I've read the book first the movie is dissapointing American Pyscho was one example and the Basketball Diaries didn't impress me either.

Great collection.

The first is a classic, the second is creepy, and the third is stupid...but fun to watch in the right mood.

What's really cool, though, is the fourth disc packed with documentaries. Very interesting shit in there.

was at a comics convention today ..

was pleasantly suprised to see Profondo Argento ..the big hardcover i'd been looking for for ages ...
i was about to happily pay the $35 cover charge (it was new) when the guy told me that everything was 50% off ..

i'm a happy camper today..
